Id make her Chloes cousin for one thing.

Keep her backstory more or less the same, her parents are divorced and after her father finds out she was bullied he decides to send her to Paris with her cousin cuz she'll at least have a familiar face there.

Zoes introduced and Chloes happy to see her cousin but in a "Finally someone whos not ridiculous! Ive been dying here!" And ofc everyones skeptical of Zoe and stays clear but then maybe Zoe approaches them and shes clearly a lot nicer than Chloe so Marinette asks why shes around the meanest girl and maybe have Zoe mention that she wasnt always like and sometimes she can be nice.

And outside of Chloe, have Zoe interact with different people..give her other hobbies, maybe she gets akumatized cuz she misses her old home and friends cuz she doesnt feel like she fits in and she worries that the class will be like New York an she'll have to move again

Just. Have Zoe and Chloe actually act like family cuz Chloe isnt some evil character, and give Zoe an actual character and definitely introduce her/ mention her at least in around season 3 or 4 so we're not blind sided by a new character were suppose to care about.

Also..DONT HAVE ANDRE TRY AND FILL A FATHER ROLE WHEN HE DOESNT DO THAT WITH CHLOE. He doesnt get to pretend to be a good dad when a nice one pops up, have him try and throw money at her like he does Chloe cuz he cant be bothered (let Zoe and Chloe bond over spending his and Audreys money!!)

Also instead of Plagg choosing her as the firsr replacement immediately..let him want to choose Nino but maybe Nino gets caught up in somethin and cant do it, and no one else is as close to Adrien and Tikki already chose Alya so he makes a quick decision and chooses Zoe (also he never suggests nerfing Chloe. Ever and if he does have Zoe shut that sit down tf.)

i think the reason re8 wasn't as well executed as re7 is because they tried to convey too many things at once.

in re7 the main villain is a 10 year old girl abused by a secret corporation that wants to turn her into a bioweapon when all she wants is a normal family. however she has only ever known authority and hierarchy, not the love and affection that should exist within an actual family, therefore she is only able to create a toxic home with a strict hierarchy where every new member is at the bottom of the food chain. jack is the abusive father who delights in torturing his children, marguerite is reduced to her reproductive organs, as her role is solely that of the mother who bears new children, and is otherwise just a very disguting annoyance. lucas is the product of this toxic home, showing that it isn't genetics that play the biggest role in the child's education (he has been cured of the mold and is acting solely of his own free will) and that cycles of violence and abuse are not easily broken. however they can be broken, and we see that in zoe, who goes out of her way and risks her own life to help ethan. mia, while technically the "younger sibling", is probably just a step above lucas in the hierarchy because of her bond with eveline and her ability to adapt. when ethan "joins" the little family unit, he is nothing but the scared little kid who's just trying to run and hide from his father, a practically impossible task in the claustrophobic house.

this all works because this is all the game is about. it's not trying to be anything else or to make bigger statements or commentary. the first re game was about the collapse and moral corruption of modern society (with the cannibal zombies) as well as the obsession with modernizing warfare by developing bioweapons to be used arbitrarily on the civilian population, who become mere test subjects for the military industrial complex.

re7 focuses on the moral decay of the family unit as a sort of case study for the larger aforementioned collapse of modern society, as it is both a direct result of a human-made biochemical disaster and the sum of every toxic and abusive ideal of patriarchal society.

re8 at its core is about pollution, with moreau being the most self explainatory case. however, the problem with re8 is that every one of the four lords represents a different thing, and the player doesnt really get enough time with any of them to really unpack anything. re8 tries to recreate the family unit we had in re7 but at the same time it wants to talk about how the nobility is nothing but a very pretty looking blood sucking parasite, and also about how pollution is bad for the fish, and about how technological advancement requires the utter annihilation of the natural landscape to make way for factories that produce machine-human hybrids, but it's also about family.

mother miranda tries to make a family for herself, but she fails miserably as she isn't interested in any of her "children", instead focused on exploiting them to create the perfect child. alcina, the nobility, has some pretty evident issues with authority; she's used to being the ruling class, the one with all the power and who exploits those below her; she also has daughters of her own, so she clearly isn't interested in miranda's plans. moreau is the most pathetic and also most obvious Lord Of Pollution, as there is nothing else really going on with him. he is a poisonous creature the spreads disease at his every breath. heisenberg is the rebellious son who wants to break away from his overbearing mother's control, the mother who put him on earth without his permission, who changed him without his permission, but he is the worst kind of pollution that exists: war. he cannot break the cycle and is not interested in doing so.

donna is the one that stands out the most to me, as she doesnt really represent any kind of physical pollution, but rather something that is plaguing our modern society on a much larger scale than ever before: metal illness. she is also the one who, more than any other lord, personifies the theme of the sick and twisted family; she taunts ethan with his insecurities about being a parent, about his own body and his own "wrongs" that his child might have inherited from him (scary giant fetus). she also makes him to take apart a mannequin modeled after mia, his dead wife, forcing him to deal with his grief and and fear to lose the only family he has left: rose.

it's not a bad game at all, and every lord is a very compelling villain (except maybe moreau) but the game doesnt give any of them nearly enough time to be developed fully and to be truly, undeniably monstrous. not to mention mother miranda, who barely feels like a villain by the end of the game, she's just annoying.

tl;dr: it's a good game, i realy liked it, but it could have benefited from having less characters and from focusing more on the horror than on the action doom-like style of gameplay

maron had a paramour before wedding daenerys and he sent her away before the marriage because he knew daenerys would take offense to it, and he didn't want to risk the still fairly new targ-martell alliance, or risk angering daeron, which could theoretically pose a risk to maron's own sister. the family's one real conflict is that the paramour has a son who later shows up claiming he's maron's REAL oldest child and that aeron is actually a blackfyre. thankfully the dornish are not stupid and basically just go ????? before kicking the kid out. well actually a lot more happens than just that but yk how it is. that plotline is also only barely existant. i havent even read a knight of the seven kingdoms yet

Epiphany!

ohhhhh epiphanyyyyy thats a hard one simply becuase there is so much i could talk about . warning this is long

there's individual character epiphanies - like the fact that Fate doesnt truely dictate your actions, and that horrible events in your past don't dictate what the rest of your life will be like (mordred , morgana respectively) {this theme i think is most prevalent in We Were Villains (Weep for me)}.

on a lighter note - there's ari's epiphany that she hadn't told zach yes to the whole platonic marriage thing in first snow. i always found that funny like she's just WE HAVEN'T TALKED ABOUT THIS????

in terms of plot points i think my favourite one (and probably the best fit for this prompt) is the camping trip, set during the main cast's teen years (zoe's 19/20 , zach's like 17 , will's also 17 and aimee is 15) - for context before this point the family is fractured - aimee and zoe's mother {morgana} died around two years previous and aimee really hates zoe for not being there for her (zoe's was struggling before this but now is trying her best to reconnect with her sister , aimee is.. resentful) zach hates his cousin , will , seeing him as an intrusion bc they are FINE GODDAMIT WE DON'T NEED YOUR HELP. the adults are trying but they are spread thin (especially with inflation and grief and such). tensions are starting to thaw though a bit but still threatening to yknow explode

and so when they finally get that one week off around christmas - what better way to spend it than CAMPING WOO.

and its that traditional thing of everything is going to shit but along the way , through broken shopping carts and getting lost in ditches and climbing trees and the lack of mosquito repellent , they bond a bit . and the breathing space becomes wider and gazes are cooler. it kinda feels remincent of those nights where they used to bring out sparklers and write their names in air , its looking at the remains of them smoking , orange bright , but instead of feeling the brand of when you couldn't stop stepping on leftovers , searing your barefoot in a grisly crevice - its just feeling content. being quenched by the outside tap. its not all gone , the water still makes you itch all over funny but - its better.

its not quite a massive epiphany, more a realisation but is one of my favourite moments still

i think the most important epiphany for me in terms of alhaven - is my own . i used to (and still do in some moments) feel bad for the unrealisticness of alhaven and the fact it was all fluffy and very badly worldbuilt. it didn't feel like a serious story like the ones that my friends would write about , the ones you see in novels . the dead come back to life , some ocs become famous ish , there's swords and historical costumes readily accessible and cheap. alhaven as a town has a kebab shop even tho its technically in the middle of nowhere, dragons , aimee grows up to host a bookish gameshow thing . murder most unladylike the netlifx adaptation exists - and alot of the story is just about the mundane . (also coupled with the fact alhaven is also the paracosm amplified things - like its my daydream world for goddam sakes)

but like the biggest epiphany for me that even if it didn't feel serious - this story was serious, to me. fluff content and the mundane wasn't a lesser form of writing - it wasn't cringe. it made me feel happy and thats all it really needed to be for it to be important. for it to matter. for it to be worthy.

alhaven has been with me for almost more than 6 years now , and to feel ashamed of it feels like a disservice to that younger me , happily writing harry potter , bbc merlin and percy jackson cross over fic with a green pen at 11pm at night.

its probably one of the epiphanies im most grateful for actually.

sorry to say that this or swapped places and such was never my jam. not to mention with how little we know about katsuharu and co, it might easily have gone nearly the same except for different digimon forms.

though it brings the question:

was one of the others unwillingly pushed on the train or did they still go after pushing tommy?

does kouichi make it on the train here or does he still fall.

or is kouji the one that falls and misses the train? who is the clueless twin in this version?

these things would change the course of the story more than just making katsuharu and co the protagonist. because sadly they aren't really established all that much

since i'm on a roll, i can at least give you one 'what if places were switched?' scenario that i think would be cool

i would switch kouichi and takuya. they still get their original spirits and kouichis situation with kouji remains the same. (though honestly you could also give the fire spirit to kouichi and have kouji get the ice spirit as opposite. would fit his cool and sometimes frosty personality haha. so many 'showing us the could shoulder' jokes. it would give innocent young tommy the spirit of light instead)

it switched when they both miss the elevator and take the stairs. except kouichi doesnt fall and makes it down in time. he can't see kouji on a platform but doesn't know which train he took si he takes the closest one on a whim. there he meets zoe, j.p and tommy. they ask him if he also followed the messages. kouichi knew he got messages earlier but didn't check them. he was kinda preoccupied. of course he still says 'yes' because let's face it, would you tell strangers you just met on a train that no, actually i was stalking my twin brother who does not even know i exist. don't think so.

they end up in the digiworld, it's terrifying and wild and before they know it they are under attack. just like takuya, kouichi gets his spirit first. it's amazing and crazy all at once and like an hour ago kouichi thought actually going up to kouji and talking to him was the scariest thing he could do. now he is suddenly involved in all of this and he has completely lost track of kouji. is he even here as well?

the voice in his D-tector tells him he will find what he is looking for if he continues towards the forest terminal. so going on it is. zoe wants to see whatever this through and tommy is now excited. j.p just kinda tags along at first.

speaking of tommy, kouichi doesn't actually know anything about having a brother but he liked the idea way before he knew kouji existed. he is very dedicated to look after tommy the best he can.

this group dynamic makes them butt head and argue far less since kouichi is rather mellow. it does, however, make them way more indecisive.

to make sure the cat is not out of the bag too early, let's say kouji gets his spirit by saving katsuharu and co instead. also congrats, now they think that was amazing & let's find more of these spirits for ourselves!

and maybe kouichis group, or part of them, cross path wit kouji once or twice. but it's always in spirit form so they have no clue what he looks like. also in true kouji fashion, he never bothers to introduce himself and fucks off still as lobomon.

sure, you could say that maybe kouichi thinks 'hey could be kouji' but he never talked to him & lobomons voice is different and there was a whole bunch of ther kids. would be quite the coincident. also the voice says he will find what he is looking for (kouji) at the forest terminal. so.

there is a reason why he is less likely to join the group in this version but let's see what's up with takuya, shall we?

takuya misses the elevator and after like ten seconds of having a mini meltdown about it he realizes he can take the stairs. except takuya trips and falls & ends up as a very confused spirit in the digiworld. he's obviously not quite right and in a haze. but unlike kouichi he lacks any bitterness that cherubimon can use to manipulate him. so he needs something else. instead he applies to takuyas righteousness. makes him believe they are the good ones.

the story goes like this: cherubimon tries to collect all the data to purify from a virus that ophanimon has infested it with. but of course ophanimon tries to stop that so the virus can spread and fester & eventually destroy everything. now she has tricked other kids to believe her.

to eliminate the 'if they just talked about it' solution, we have this: cherubimon makes sure takuya cannot really talk in his twisted digimon form. he managed to save takuya when he came here but not before ophanimon could do a lot of damage. his spirit form is all that keeps him strong enough.

being way less passive than kouichi, takuya gets involved almost right away. so he and kouji start crossing blades a lot and early on. which kinda brings us back to why kouji stays away from the group longer.

you see, he too was asked to go to the forest terminal but the voice also told him he will eventually understand the mystery that surrounds him. when uh… evil!agunimon starts showing up and clearly is targeting him personally, kouji understandably but wrongly assumes this has something to do with it. thanks to ophanimon being so cryptic he has no context to know better.

the truth is, takuya isn't a complete idiot. kouji, who is alone, is easier to take on than a group of four. he also appears to be less loyal/inclined to follow ophanimons orders so takuya might get him to understand better.

this almost rivalry gets kinda personal so kouji is more interested in handling this and less inclined to agree to a team up with the others.

while kouichi and co have their first terrifying encounter with grottmon, kouji gets his b-spirit while fighting with evil!agunimon (also gotsumon gets to go with kouji cause i say so)

while they deal with the horror of the tv forest, kouji ends up with the kindergarten (look, he tries his best, alright)

like takuya, kouichi loses control over his b-spirit (its less animalistic instinct taking over than evil/impure stuff). kouji as lobomon comes to help but gets intercepted and driven away by evil!agunimon.

kouichi and the others go on. they manage to free qeraphimon (since they could do that without kouichi i guess it's enough if at least half the chosen children are there, so). kouichi hasn't told them about kouji. at first it was because he thought this whole thing would be resolved quickly and he didn't really wanna involve the others. it's awkward and he is very insecure about the whole thing as it is. not to mention he has no idea how to explain this without sounding like a weirdo at best or a creepy stalker at worst.

while kouichi and the others have this tucanmon mess at hands, kouji has to figure out how the frick to make a hamburger (again he really tries his best but this is somehow even worse than him trying to handle a bunch of kindergartener)

they are all at the trailmon race (which takes place after the burger episode). but this version requires digimon drivers so they don’t see each others human form here.

(actually in this version kouji might spend most his time as a digimon. he only travels with a digimon and others are way more likely to take him serious as a digimon rather than a human)

it goes on and on and then so much is happening. it gets crazier and more dangerous. the stakes are getting higher and higher and they are expected to be these great saviors and what not. there is never time or a good moment for kouichi to tell them about kouji. the longer it goes on, the harder it becomes to say something. they are looked at as heroes to save the day and kouichi has it not on him to tell anyone he never even bothered with the messages, he just came here and stayed to find his brother.

 the fallout happens on the dark continent. kouichi and co see light and fighting in the distance and hurry to check things out. they find lobomon and evil!agunimon (who they also fought before but less often than kouji). takuya got his b-spirit and things don’t look good for lobomon so they all rush in to help.

during the fight, when kouji and takuya clash, they see each others face. it throws kouji off because not only is there a kid in there (unlike with the other warriors) but he's seen him before! i mean you probably won’t forget the weirdo kid that has been talking/shouting to himself you saw on the train just before you came here.

koujis face is also pretty much the only thing familiar to takuya in this world. he took special note of him in the train after all and tried to follow him in shibuya station. once kouji points out 'i know you! you were on the same train as me!' takuya loses his crap like duskmon did.

(it wasn't the first time he felt off about himself or questioned cherubimons story but whenever he did cherubimon would worsen the fog in his mind & tighten his control like he did with kouichi)

the others are bruised and confused af. unlike the other times, kouji is exhausted enough to transform back in front of the others and they realize he looks a lot like kouichi. like way too much.

clearly they are in shock and except for kouichi they lose their minds very loudly about hey what the heck? kouji probably can tell he opened some kind of can of worms but its not like he cares too much what they are japing about. he had no idea his look alike twin is with them after all. between not having really seen kouichi yet and the new revelation about takuya, kouji has no reason to think the mystery surrounding him is not connected to takuya. so of course without a thought of the others he runs off after evil!agunimon (evil!burninggreymon?)

look, he has a bad habit of doing that as it is but the circumstances in this version have him not at all grown out of it yet.

the others are too flabbergasted to follow right away. with so many questions they look at kouichi, who in turn is frozen in place with, well, a lot of emotions. after a lot of questions and some yelling he begrudgingly tells them everything. (he might have told them before he is an only child or at least that he grew up without siblings. cause again, the stalking your unsuspecting twin thing).

zoe, j.p and tommy are initially mad at kouichi for lying and not saying anything after all they went through together. it does not get resolved right away cause they have to deal with ranamon and mercurymon. its them trying to evade capture instead of trying to get free like after takuya went back to the real world.

i guess instead of takuyas heroic bsod  we get kouichi feeling really guilty and despairing over how he 'lead them on' by having them thinking he was a hero following the call when he is really not (he very much did become the hero that was needed, he just can't see that right then). the darkness bad side nearly overcomes him but he can pull himself together with the help of his friends. they come around pretty quickly. all they needed was a couple hours to wrap their head around all the layers of crazy. they get why kouichi handled things the way he did and assure him he is alright. (he gets to hear the occasional jab about his stalking, mostly from j.p, but it's in good spirit)

eventually they end up and get  inside of sephirotmon alongside evil!agunimon and kouji & gotsumon. not only do they need to fight and regroup but also find kouji and have him sick around for more than 10 minutes to have, like, number of important conversations.

i guess in this version kouji gets to double spirit to fight evil!agunimon and kouichi double evolves to finish sephirotmon. here though evil!agunimon gets away and all the kids get to regroup, including kouji. this version has the not fight sephirotmon in the dark and all but tell kouji to chill the fuck out for a second so they can ask what the deal is with evil!agunimon (not that he really knows anything beyond this is a kid he met on the train when coming to the digiworld). Also kouji should know about kouichi, one way or another, but especially since they really should be working together – period.

It does not go very well. its difficult for kouichi to explain properly & he is worried how kouji will take it. Which is to say not very well. he has a lot of emotions about it, mostly confusion and anger (not really at kouichi but at the fact that this whole situation is a thing in the first place)

It’s obviously quite the shock. There isn’t the additional problem of kouichi being a bad guy but t comes out of left field even more to kouji here. Between what ophanimon said and the takuya situation, he had no reason to think he was anyhow connected to loewemon (sure spirit of darkness, but since that is A Thing someone was going to get it. He does not think zoes wind and grottmons earth are specially connected either). So yeah, it’s a lot.

Since now they are all after evil!agunimon and heading to the rose morning star, kouji and gotusumon very, very reluctantly agree to go with the others (they all find the funny german trailmon together and fix him up). the mood is really tense and its super awkward all around. Kouji is stand-offish as ever and keeps away from them as much as he can & stick with gotsumon.

They didn’t get to know kouji much in this version so they can’t really tell that he is not being a cold prick on purpose but is in reality just very overwhelmed with everything. Learning his mom is alive, he has a brother that is here and crossed paths with before and still the whole evil!agunimon/takuya situation that is even less clear now. That is a lot at once to handle and honestly kouji has never been particularly good in dealing with his own emotions, let alone verbalizing them. Gotsumon is there for kouji but having a lot of similar issues as him and having little to no context for what brothers let alone mothers are, he can’t really help him all that much.

Kouichi isn’t doing much better. He is worrying and second guessing how he handled this, if he even knows how to go forward now, if he even knows how to do this or if kouji would want to talk to him now at all. He is very insecure about all of this.

j.p initially thinks they should leave them to it and just give them time. Who would want strangers that are not involved or affected by this at all tell them how to properly handle it? Certainly not j.p.

tommy is the first to go up to kouichi to cheer him up. he’s sure him and kouji will be fine with some time. Also as someone who has a brother, he is certified to assure kouichi that he is doing a pretty good job at being a brother. Of course j.p comes to cheer him up too, because no matter what he says he is a big old softie.

Zoe then is the one to go up to kouji. They don’t know him very well but they know kouichi. I think he initially wouldn’t have told kouji that he kept this a secret from his friends before or voice how emotionally difficult this all was to him. He’s got a bad habit of being self deprecating and probably would feel that this was just him making excuses. But zoe really wants kouji to know that this isn’t easy for kouichi either and he worries and cares a lot.

Probably takes some pushing from gotsumon for kouji to admit that he doesn’t mean to be harsh to kouichi, he just does not know how to handle all the news he just got. Not to mention the whole mystery surrounding him that he thought related to evil!agunimon who seemed to be after him in particular, might not be that. Now he is back to square one or worse. Like all of this at once seems like too much of a coincident.

It’s still awkward but they have to go on towards the rose morning star where they fight evil!agunimon.

(unlike with kouichi, kouji needs no encouragement to slap some sense into takuya lol)

Once takuya is defeated, he is understandably distraught and confused. Like in the original, once he sees takuya kouichi realizes that he too saw him in the real world where he followed kouji (a stalker caught another stalker, huh – not the time for jokes j.p!)

Nothing makes sense and once kouji confronts takuya about what the hell is going on, things just get wilder. Takuyas mind is still a little jumbled and all but he wastes and launches in a spiel of how they need to understand that ophanimon is evil and tricking them (you know now that he gets to talk). Which of course has the other be like what the frick you talking about?

Now that takuya is no longer under cherubimons control and the fog in his mind has lifted it doesn’t take much for him to realize what is really going on. needless to say takuya is devastated. He also won’t remember much of anything when kouji ask him about being on the train together so there is that.

They have sympathy for takuyas situation and like with kouichi he is easily forgiven. They encourage him to stay with them and come to the rose morning star with them. It’s fine, cant get more awkward than it is already. Takuya also gets his real spirits fighting the fake cherubimon.

 After that uff… I don’t like how especially unbalanced frontiers is so lets say they fight cherubimon while trying to save ophanimpn. And instead of being saved by ophanimon, zoe gets to also double spirit evolve. Actually I would like them to all double evolve to beat cheruubimon. So maybe cuase takuya was in possession of both spirits and evolved so long he got the double evo right away against fake cherubimon.

Then when they have weirdo icedevimon to deal with tommy gets his double evo and j.p gets it in the very last fight against cherubimon. I guess. The order of these three really doesn’t matter that much.

Either way during the icedevimon fiasco kouichi and kouji are the ones to get their d-tectors frozen. They warm up more to each other when kouji is intent on protecting Kouichi despite initially appearing to be cold and uncaring towards him. Also takuya gets to make up his past ‘mistakes’, either by getting double evo here or buying tommy enough time for his, depending on what order the double evos are, as it does not matter that much.

 Anyway they get their butts kicked by the royal knights and still end up on the moon where they get to goof off a bit. Here too it’s takuya who comes too first and is determined to do all he can for the other kids.

So eventually they get back to earth. I think they should do the 6 double evo vs two royal knights & minions for longer. I’d even have tommy double evolve when meeting katsuharu and co if it weren’t for the ‘all spirits at once against cherubimon’, so. The katsuharu and co & tommy situation plays out pretty similarly except the knights have knightmon with them already and all six of the kids are fighting.

 So I’m actually not sure who would do the unity evo eventually. Either we stick with the original light and fire spirit, which would be kouji and takuya. In this case I think takuya would somewhat take over not necessarily as a leader but the front man if you know what I mean. Because kouichi is very kind and caring and he did step up to the challenge they faced but he is not the naturally born hero type that takuya is and now that takuya is no longer controlled he could finally grow into his actual destiny.

On the other hand if the switcheroo stuck like before, now it would be kouji and kouichi doing the unity evo which is also kinda cool with the twins and dark and light theme. Then again, in this version kouji is only just learning to work with others and has not yet really matured emotionally the way he did in the original. He is only getting started with all this. So maybe unifying anything is not really in the card for him yet.

Anyway the episodes with katsuharu and co, the village of beginnings and the one with bokomon and neemons hometown stays pretty much the same plotwise, if now with multiple double evos instead of the two unity ones.

It may differ a little with takuya being more reckless because he feels he needs to make up for his past mistakes & really wanting to be a hero that can save others. Also in this version kouji met katsuharu and co so he would probably be like why the frick are you still here??

I guess him knowing them would also surprise tommy and maybe they would be a little more inclined to be jealous of tommy getting a spirit and they don’t? either way they still get around to it and realize they were pricks to tommy and also that they need to go home because there isn’t much they can do.

Since gotsumon is already with kouji and co, the episode where they return to seraphimons castle starts out a bit different but otherwise stays similar to before. Of course gotsumon still gets to evolve to help kouji fight but yeah losing his home is not easy on him. So I guess we can still have Kouji and gotsumon run distraction while they others get in.

Then again since they are all still able to evolve kouichi might stay with them. Him and Kouji get to work together more and takuya gets to go with the others

 When they are at autumnleafe fair  it’s gotsumon and the other digimon that build the snow catapult to help the others fight. Here It’s takuya that gets to realize he is actually a only a spirit here. That’s really not helping his situation at all. What does this mean? He can’t remember how he got here. What if this is the punishment for falling on the evil side?  

 So once they are in the library and all takuya is weirdly quiet and out of it. They still split up to look for the key the same way. Except they can all tell there is something fishy going on with takuya so they get zoe to go with him and probe him for what’s going on. Because she is by far the most subtle and tactful really. Instead of this interrupted almost love confession(??) takuya nearly tells her what’s up but then decides he has to handle that on his own.

Maybe in the library they find some more stuff about the legendary warriors and figure out there must be a way to, uh, unify the spirits more strongly or whatever. Except how do figure out how to do that exactly or with whom? They don’t really get a chance to figure it out with crusadermon and dynasmon showing up and all.

Takuya is being extra recless. This is their last chance and knowing he is only a spirit there is nothing for him to lose actually. So when it’s looking really bad for them & they are forced back into human form and takuya is about to be killed the d-tectors react. Because I think no matter what version, doing things be sheer determination is just ingrained into takuyas being. So they figure out to give him the right spirits so takuya still gets to be emperorgreymon.

Hmm I guess kouichi is the other one in a similar position to takuya and is given the other spirits by the rest of his friends to unity evolve into whatever as well (which I guess makes this some kind of triangle switch or something). I just think since kouji has been lone wolfing it so much longer & was for a long time more focused on the mystery surrounding him than anything in this version it might be neat twist to see kouichi fight and think: he spent most his time doing what he could to help others regardless of what he personally wanted. If anyone would handle this right, its him.

 Anyway once kouichi and takuya unity evolve they manage to finally win against the royal knights. But things suck and lucemon is powerful enough now to destroy the last key from his prison. So they face lucemon and end up on the moon pretty much the same way as before.

 Kouichi and kouji still get to have a heart to heart talk on the moon about their mom. When patamon, loopmon and salomon tell them about how darkness and light need to be in balance to win they think that makes sense but is also weird. Because why did takuya then get to unity evolve instead of kouji? Not to mention how weird he has been acting super weird recently. Of course they get bokomon to spill the beans once takuya is out of earshot for like a minute. Not that they are given the time to figure out what any of that really means thanks to lucemon

 The fight happens still pretty much the same. Except instead of kouichi, kouji is the one that sacrifices himself by taking a hit. That boy has a real habit of doing so as it is. Also the fact that it has to be kouichi and the darkness might be explained by the fact that lucemon is an angle digimon & more light based (look I’m just making up some lore at that point). Anyway everyone is understandably shocked and kouichi is so very distraught. But takuya is pissed, like for real. They do become Susanoomon and fight lucemon and all into the real world. Everything is kinda jumbled there anyway so what difference does it make if I switch the kouichi/kouji/takuya thing even more.

I guess its ok for spirit! Takuya to be in the real world as since he is first in the inbetween (the destroyed train station) and then in digimon form with the others.

 Anyway of course both him and kouichi are in despair when it seems they lost kouji & failed to save either word. Takuya feels like a failure. He was supposed to be a hero and first he was tricked into helping the bad guys and even now he can’t get it right no matter what. Kouichi isn’t handling it much better. He just lost the brother he only really got to know recently and while he had started to think he was actually doing this hero thing right despite not really having followed the call initially, it still seems not to matter how hard he tries.

Of course in the end they all pull through and defeat lucemon.

 With the digiworld saved and all, they get to say goodbye. Kinda. Since the portal between the worlds is still open and takuya is more than aware now that he is a ghost (and likely death in the real world) he decides to have his soul trade place with koujis… wherever souls go (digimon 02 clearly shows there are more worlds than two, so. Also don’t ask me how that works, if digimon gets to be big on artistic license in their own story so do I). besides, that’s what a real hero does, give his life to save others. Besides it’s fine since his body is okayish in the real world and this does not end like church in the season 13 finale of rvb

 So kouji comes back, pretty confused and out of it but now they lost takuya. Its all very emotional for everyone and before they can really understand what happened, they barely have time to say bye to the spirits and the digimon that were with them before they are thrown back into their world. But agunimon manages to tell them Takuya can still be saved.

Once back kouichi realizes that if takuya too missed the elevator, he might also had the same idea and taken the stairs, so off they go. Of course at the end of the day, they get to save takuya in a similar manner than they did with kouichi thanks to the power of friendship and love. (and totally freak out the hospital staff by doing so lol)

 But all is well in the end.

tbh i think the thing that kinda pisses me off abt the whole c/apco/m hinting that ch/ris was gonna have to fight off the lycan virus and then still fucking using that as the cover art when they dropped the concept so long ago that it didnt even make the in game concept art files, just random shit theyve talked about files, but its still the game cover they used, like the one thing that kinda bothers me about village is the fact that chris doesnt even need to be there.

Like if you don’t pay to download Zoe’s file where you learn he’s betraying the BS/AA because he’s realized they’ve become dirty and they covered up Dulvey because they caused Evie to get out, it doesnt make sense why hes there at all. They cut Ada out because her helping Ethan wouldn’t make sense, but Chris’ entire story arc hasn’t expanded beyond he still knows the government’s covering shit up, he still knows shits going down that he has to solve on his own because people are all fucking lying to him and he cant trust anyone except basically his sister (which they barely even show him trusting her or acknowledging her existence!!!) He ‘saved’ Rose, but technically Ethan did that. In fact, Ethan technically did everything but lay the explosives down. They could have had just about any of their past characters do that and it would have been fine, it didnt even need to be chris, it being chris only made sense because thats the one ethan met.

and yeah he basically became roses surrogate dad after ethan dies but, i think if they kept the him getting afflicted with the lycan virus but because of his years of fighting bioweapons he still held control over himself and had a way to keep the infection at bay, just a way to really push Chris’ storyline forward, that would have done a lot too. Like I get it, Rose is gonna be the next protagonist cause they probably figure Chris is too old now, but they could still do some fun interesting stuff with him. I mean ‘chris fails at saving Ethan because Ethan sacrifices himself and Chris feels guilty’ how many times do we have to sit and watch Chris have PTSD because C/a/pcom wont let him save the people he cares about?

Well we are well into Season 5 now. But I will try and summarize everything that happened that was important.

TIME FOR A GALE RECAP!

Season 4

-Luka and Marinette broke up in the first episode, Kagami and Adrien in the second.

-Jagged stone is Juleka and Luka's dad.

-Alya finds out that Marinette is ladybug because Marinette tells her

-Hawkmoth calls himself shadow moth

-The Peacock miraculous is fixed

-Ladybug gets a new form when she uses lucky charm.

-Ladybug can create akuma repealing charms

-Gabriel bottomed for a clown

-Turns out Fu wasnt the worst guardian because Su Han exists

-Chloe has a half-sister named Zoe who is basically her but not evil.

-Zoe becomes the new bee

-Chloé is back to season 1 self but now even more cartoonishly evil

-Felix returns and figures out Gabriel is shadowmoth immediately.

-All of the class gets their miraculous hero time at one point. (Four of them get it in one episode near the end of the season.)

-Alya gets the fox permanently, then has to pretend she isnt rena rouge anymore because plot.

-Alya gets to use the ladybug miraculous for a day

-Ladybug and chat noir are said to be couple of the year but ladybug hated the idea so much she yeets chat noir into a garbage can

-Kagami reads manga and is best girl this season

-Nino reveals to Adrien he is carapace and Alya is Rena Rouge because he thought Chat noir was a slut

-Sabine got akumatized due to racism

-Tikki is actually a hunger gremlin but gets over it

-Luka finds out Marinette is ladybug and Adrien is Chat noir but lies about knowing

-The 100th episode was a what if episode where Gabriel wins but not really. It was terrible and not worth viewing

-Adrien quits being chat noir due to all of the crap and feeling not valued only to come back as Chat Walker and Ladybug falls for him. He ends up returning as chat noir even though nothing really changed.

-Then there is an episode where Gabriel makes all of Paris act risky thanks to an akuma.

-Adrien tells Marinette he doesnt want to be a model

-Marinette trying to confess to him but plot interferes

-Felix appears and swaps places with Adrien and finds emilie in the basement

-Felix gets the dog miraculous and manages to snatch all of the miraculous except Ladybug and Chat noir's

-He trades them for the peacock which Gabriel agrees too

-Ladybug breaks down and almost gives up but chat noir is there to bring her back up

-Marinette realizes she is in love with Chat noir

-There is a kwami swap episode that was ACTUALLY good

-Nathalie was actually Lara Craft in a past life

-The Kwamitoga is actually useful

You know I'd really like to read a deh fanfiction where Connor and Evan run into each other really hard, get knocked unconscious by the force and then wake up in the hospital in each other's bodies.

The doctor's say they both have amnesia since they're all "who are you people" to their 'families' and cant seem to remember their names.

"What's your name"

"Evan...Hansen?

"Evan is fine, he came in with you and is talking to a doctor right now. What is YOUR name?"

"Ummm....?????"

The boys figure out they switched bodies but dont say anything to avoid looking more crazy to their families. I think itd be cool to read about how both of them get a little taste of what they need.

Connor gets to go to therapy (Dr.S is assuming that the amnesia is the reason Evan has gained a different personality. Thinking that since he has forgotten his trama his brain has built a new personality off of different core memories creating an Evan that is less full of anxiety? Idk I'm not a psychologist. Im thinking later Connor would slip up revelling to much of his actual life which leads Dr.S to believe that Evan has DID and that Connor is a new personality formed from the incident. He would think Connor's memories are actually a creation of a world Evan would have liked. His parents still being together-even though he knows it wouldn't work out in the long run which caused the 'dream' to go dark. Connor is like "I have no idea what you're talking about but if your chill with dealing with me I'm good" Dr.S continues to treat Connor as though 'Evan's fantasy' AKA Connor's real life is reality because he believes that this 'fantasy' is holding Evan dormant.) <- [This of course is just DR.S's psychological interpretation. Realty is that its just a bodyswap. However if you like that theory of Connor actually being a personality of Evan go right ahead a write that. I'm not stopping you]

Connor also gets to eat normal food like Pizza and tacos and anything that isnt some weird Vegan fat-free mess Cynthia makes

Connor gets he's space. Hes not constantly beaten down on by his parents for every step he takes. Heidi is incredibly chill. She's very worried about his well being but shes not invasive like his parents are who just want to tear him down. She continues to reiterate that she loves and supports him which allows Connor to slowly drop his walls.

With these supports in place Connor slowly begins to stop smoking/cutting (I have a feeling he may have also stopped at the begining because he respects the fact that this isnt his body and doesnt want to damage it but it is HARD) however most of his needs to cut/smoke are in his head. Which is awful because addiction is hard to quit. But he doesnt have to deal with physical withdrawal symptoms. (Headaches, nausea ect.) Which helps

Connor also stands up to Jared real quick so Jared learns to get his priorities straight or he finds himself left behind

Evan on the other hand has a whole family unit. He finally gets attention 24/7 which is great. Larry is a little harsh with him because hes Connor but it's less than usually since 'Connor' has no idea what hes talking about and doesnt give him a fight anymore. Cynthia is constantly hovering over him with scrapbooks to jog his memory. Zoe just tries to keep her distance but shes always in the background just staring at him trying to figure him out. The whole family is serriously just thrown off about how nice/figitty 'Connor' is. He's tripping over his words and apologizing as much as he breathes.

Evan does go through Connor's physical withdrawal because Evan is not about smoking. He suffers. The first day he keeps craving something but doesnt know what. He tells Cybthia who tries to help him match/satisfy it but nothing works. The next couple of dayd hes serriously sick/agitated. That's when Larry realised 'Connor' is going through withdrawls and is like "oh wow. Ok" and he starts being nicer. He is still somewhat stuck in the "what does it matter, Connor is going to go back to normal soon enough and it wont matter what he does right now" but Evan is being the perfect son so he cant really stay angry. He actually begins to bond with him again.

Evan just gets attention. He gets to sit down and have dinner and talk with people. He gets that family support hes been craving. He doesnt have to worry about being a financial burden because the Murphys are loaded

Evan would probably try to get close to Zoe but she pushes him away like nobody's business. Eventually she would cave and mabye do his nails or something but something about it feels off. Connor likes doing his nails and rn 'Connor ' seems to be very against the idea because "nail polish is for girls, what if people see it and think I'm a freak ect." So now shes even more suspicious about this whole amnesia thing. It wouldn't change her brother this much, would it?

Idk how Evan would think about everyone at school. Because they see him, they notice his existence but it's mostly out of fear and hatred. I feel like that would leave him a little bit panicked.

Anyway, after a week or two Connor goes over to his house to visit Evan and see how everything is being managed. Zoe sneaks a peek on them and notices something. Shes met Evan once or twice before so she didnt really make the connection until now when she can see them both. But 'Connor' is behaving like Evan, and 'Evan' is acting like Connor. Something is definitely off. She confronts them and without much of an argument to steer her off course they eventually give in and tell her what has been going on. She joins their team of figuring out what happened, how to go back and later in the story where the climax drama happens IF they should go back.

The IF drama is basically both parties know they have to go back but also dont want to....

It's just, Connor likes the freedom and trust Heidi gives him. He misses his sister but he also whitnessed his parents loving Evan more than they ever did to him. And that makes him furious because that means he was/will never be good enough for them. He takes this out on Evan since he knows Evan likes his family. He feels like Evan stole them from him even though he knows that's not true.

Evan wants his mom back. When he goes to visit 'Evan' hes a complete stranger to her and that hurts like hell. Plus He doesnt like being hated at school and furthermore he needs his therapy again. But the Murphy family is just so perfect. He has a father figure and a Mom whose always around and Zoe (who has become less of a crush through the experience and more a friend) and he doesnt have to listen to Jared being mean to him/claim they only hang out for car insurance. He has a strong support unit here and hes become more confident from the love they feed him.

So it's just this complicated mess of emotions.

I dont know how it would wrap up since they both have to go back but I think itd be really great to see these boys get better because their circumstances/situations switch. After all Tragedy is only a tragedy becuase the hero is in the wrong story. (I think I read that in a post talking about how Macbeth and Hamelt would have ended happily if only the two main characters were in each others stories since Macbeth would have killed the uncle real quick well Hamelt would have stopped to think instead of jumping in feet first. They made a good point and I want to apply that theory to this story)

Britt will officially overtake Moyo as the most cartoonish villain in wtfock! The writers really dont care for most of their characters, do they? or even their overall messaging. The writing just screams F*CK consistency and character development. It's all very amusing. But at least the garbage trio - Moyo, Britt and, ofc the worst of them all, Kato - have had a lot of chaotic, offensive, hate filled, disastrous, nonsensical and tragic runs without losing a single friendship.

similar anon: Britt even went to their party in season 4 too and went to the beach with them in season 3. It felt like she was friendly with them now so it’s gonna be weird if she goes back to Jana season behavior.

Like I have said before I think the issue is that season 4 + wtfockdown britt exist. Remember we also know that her and Robbe had spoken on FB messenger in wtfockdown and obviously are comfortable enough to be at Senne’s party together. Also why was britt as Senne’s party? Are they even friends? Anyways so we know Britt at some point handed an olive branch to Robbe. Robbe being Robbe ovi isnt gonna hold a grudge even tho she was downright disgusting to him the night Sander had his episode. Anyways and then the girls were ovi cool with her in s4 and friendly. Like Britt isnt close to Senne so I imagine zoe invited her or something to the party. Thats why am saying 2020 britt doesnt fit the plot narrative she is about to depict.2019 britt did but 2020 britt its like why? she seemed chill and she could even be in the same room with Sander so that also speaks volumes. Like ovi they arent gucci but he clearly doesnt hate her living guts either so......idk weird choice. I wish they made Marie to lead for the hate account plot and britt the tag along. Also its wtfock there is no such thing as consistency.

music!! adrien still plays piano, but in this, mari plays viola and accompanies him sometimes!! adrien got tired of how limited viola pieces are, so he started to compose his own under tikki’s tutelage (creation and all). mari is flattered but she’s fine playing second fiddle (viola), really! adrien keeps writing music because it’s fun and because he loves the way mari’s eyes light up when she sees a new piece

sorry to have her play viola but im Projecting. its basically used as percussion in most songs, playing a steady beat that some find boring but all other sections would lose their tempo without. i feel like mari, who in the show tends to feel useless unless she is Actively Helping, would enjoy a part that’s so (pardon the pun) instrumental.

with tikki, adrien is a lot less *spontaneously* rebellious and a lot more *planned out* rebellious. tikki helps him plan how to get out from under his father’s thumb without accidentally landing himself further under it. because of her help, he’s able to hang out with friends a lot more!!

mari and adrien are both better friends with the class in diamond. mari makes an effort to include people in projects she thinks they’d like, and helps them with theirs in return, but they also hang out to just goof around and watch movies or play video games! adrien is easy to be friends with, but he takes more responsibility for himself and others and, on top of that, is simply around more for them to be friends with!

he ends up modeling for marinette a lot. like, a lot. to the point where adrien’s fanclub finds the MDC website that max helped her with and sees all the pictures of adrien and she’s sold out of commission slots in minutes. she becomes very popular after that and wins herself an internship at gabriel!

about the website- since people like heping mari with projects (she gives them free food and thanks them profusely for helping, and. well. no one in class can withstand the might of the dupain-cheng puppydog eyes) they are super willing to help her with modeling for and matinence of the site! max showed her how he set it up so she could fix it herself if she had to! in return she made markov a sweater. it’s adorable.

adrien, through tikki’s courage, is standing up to his father more. he’s no longer modeling as much for gabriel, he has more free time, and he gets to play music he wants to play, not just music gabey wants him to play. it’s... nice. he smiles more genuinely and laughs more sincerely and hes just! happier and more real.

copycat doesnt happen the same but it kinda does. im going the @zoe-oneesama route of having theo be in their school so its not super creepy for him to crush on minuit but dang is our boy crushing. however, red light has no reason to be jealous, so instead he explains that he and mini are too professional to entertain civilian crushes, causing theo to become stoplight, a ““hero”” that mini would then be allowed to date by hero law, especially since they’re already partners. mini is Conflicted because her cute spotti boy is flirting?? with her??? but then she gets a call from red while stoplight is still in front of her and shes like “oh fuck akuma” and wins the fight. it was weird for her to be punching her partner in the face, but she won anyways lol

every episode where alya makes a convoluted plan to get mari and adrien together still happens but her coconspiritor is adrien now. she knows mari has a Secret, Unattainable Crush but thats all she knows. she thinks its adrien though because mari is modest and modelboy adrien seems out of her league.

mari accidentally derails every plan just by her pure chaos energy. they were setting up cherry blossoms to rain down over mari while she sketched & adrien would come over to ask her out but she saw them sitting in the tree with the bin of blossoms and asked them for opinions on what she was designing. alix was gonna zoom by and make mari fall so adrien could catch her romantically and ask her out but when she fell she did a front handspring and landed perfectly. adrien is even more smitten.

in animan its basically the same thing? but with no secret alya, shes just not there. mari came because she loves hanging out with her friends and nino has a huge crush on her which. adrien is sad but he wants mari to be happy even if its not with him so he was invited but IS hiding in the bushes helping nino instead of being there. but then mari ends up setting up alya and nino and adrien is like “hope replenished yall”

frozer happened because he was trying to ask her out and he panicked and asked her advice on asking out Unnamed Girl and she assumed kagami because theyre friends in this. adrien was too awkward to say no. mari sets up a date for them (milkshakes & skating) but they both separately ask her to come for different reasons. adrien just wants her there because hes crushing hard but kagami is nervous about her first date ever and she wants to get it right, so she asks mari to please be there. mari shows up with luka. this episode makes it clear that kagami and adriens intentions in asking mari along were not all that different actually maybe

“I’ve been looking for you three everywhere!” You smiled as you approached your group of friends. Sweet Pea continued to text, and Toni and Fangs continued their conversation. Your smile faltered slightly before you remembered why you had been looking for them. “Hellooo. Am I ghost?” You asked jokingly and they glanced at you.

“What? Yeah. Whatever you wanna do Y/n.” Sweet Pea replied nonchalantly and you rolled your eyes. He had been like this ever since he got with Zoe, a new serpent who used to live in Greendale. She moved to Riverdale a few months ago and ever since it was like you didn’t exist to any of them. At first it was just Sweet Pea, which hurt like hell. You had been friends since you were 2 and there literally wasn’t a day that you hadn’t been together until she came along and all he wanted to do was hang out with her. Which you understood to an extent, they were dating so you were obviously going to see each other less but it had been a solid month and half, if not more since you had hung out with him properly. You would see each other in school but even then she would always be around and intimidate you when Sweet Pea wasn’t paying attention. You had tried to tell Sweet Pea on multiple occasions that she wasn’t a nice person but he just argued with you so eventually you gave up trying to help. Then Fangs and Toni started to ignore you, and then all four of them would hang out without you and by that point you had started to give up. Not that they noticed. 

However, when you found out your parents were going away for the weekend, you were ecstatic. You were going to invite them to stay the weekend and everything would be like it was before she turned up. 

“I have exciting news!” You sat down beside Sweet Pea, but they continued to ignore you. “Am I invisble or are you doing this on purpose?” You snapped and they looked at you confused. 

“Sorry. I was..” Sweet Pea started. 

“Texting Zoe. Yes, I know. And you two were talking about something funny she did at the weekend when you said you were doing homework but instead you were hanging out with her. I get it, but can we focus on me for a minute? Or are you forgetting that I’m your friend too?” You asked angrily and they shrugged. 

“Sure.” 

“My parents are going to Florida at the weekend so I have a free house! I was wondering if you guys wanted to come over, we can hang out, watch movies, eat popcorn, and you can stay as well. So. What do you say?” You asked with a bright smile. 

“I. Err. Sorry, I can’t. I promised Zoe we would hang out this weekend.” Sweet Pea said apologetically. 

“You’ve hung out with her every single weekend since you met. Can you not spare this one?” You asked and he shook his head. 

“I’m helping her with a project.” He replied and you nodded your head slowly.

“Fine. What about you two? We can still have fun.” 

“Sorry. We have a project due too.” Fangs replied, and Toni nodded quickly. 

“Oh. Okay. Thats fine. What about afterwards? I can’t imagine the project is going to take all weeke-” 

“What project?” Zoe asked and you rolled your eyes. She made her way over to your table and stood in between you and Sweet Pea, signaling for you to move over. You sighed before moving and she sat down, not so accidentally hitting you with her bag. “I hope you’re not cancelling our camping trip this weekend?” Zoe asked with an evil smile, causing your friends’ eyes to widen. 

“You’re going camping?” You asked sadly. “Of course you are.” You stood up. “I think I’m gonna go. Have fun at the weekend.” You sighed and started to walk away, quickly wiping the tears from your eyes. 

“Y/n!” Zoe called after you and you rolled your eyes before turning around to face her. 

“Yeah?” 

“Do you hear that?” She asked and you looked at her annoyed. “That was the sound of your friendship with each of them shattering. You’re welcome. Now, have fun at the weekend with all your friends. Oh wait. Thats right. You don’t have any. Bye.” She smiled sweetly before walking away. You turned the other way and ran into an empty classroom. Well what you thought was empty. 

“Are you okay?” A boy with glasses asked. You jumped at the noise and your head snapped up to see a group of people sat around a table. 

“What? Yeah. I’m fine.” You wiped your eyes. 

“You don’t look it.” A blonde girl replied and held a tissue out to you. “Don’t worry, its clean.” She smiled and you took it from her, wiping your nose. “I’m Emma.” She introduced herself and you smiled slightly. “Y/n.” You replied. 

“I’m Alex!” The boy shouted. 

“Hi.” You waved. “Sorry for interrupting.” You apologized. “I’ll leave you guys.” You looked at the rest of the group. 

“Stay if you want. We don’t mind and you look sad.” Alex offered and pointed to the seat beside him. 

“I don’t want to be a burden.” 

“You’re not. Come on.” Emma grabbed your arm lightly and pulled you towards the table. 

“What is this?” You asked as you sat in between Emma and Alex. 

“We’re just a group of friends. We sit in here at lunch because its quieter and less intimidating than the lunch hall.” Another boy said. “I’m James by the way.” 

“Oh. So you hang out here every single day with each other no matter what?” You asked and they nodded. 

“Yeah. The majority of us have been friends since we were kids.” Emma replied and you started to cry again. “Are you okay?” She asked and you shook your head. She wrapped an arm around you and you cried harder. 

“I’ve been ditched by my friends for some girl that they’ve known for 4 months. My oldest friend is dating her and she is horrible to me but he’s too blind to notice so now I have know friends and I’m alone.” 

“You can hang out with us if you want?” A girl said. 

“Yeah. We’ll be your friends, you’re not alone.” Alex patted your shoulder and you nodded. 

“Okay.” You smiled sadly.

It had been about 5 months since you had met your recent group of friends and you finally felt happy again. You hung out with at least one of them every single day and you were staring to forget what Zoe had done to you. You still got sad whenever you thought of Sweet Pea, Toni and Fangs but you would soon feel better when one of your new friends would say something stupid, causing everyone to laugh. This was the happiest you had been in a while.

What you didn’t know though, was that Sweet Pea was miserable. After the camping weekend he had started to notice Zoe be mean to people, which got him thinking about all the things you had told him, which he ignored. 

A few more months had gone and now Sweet Pea was stood in front of your door about to apologize. He didn’t know what he was going to say but he knew he needed you to forgive him. He had been an idiot, they all had, and he only realized that once him and Zoe broke up after he caught her cheating on him. 

“Hold on Alex!” You called out and he looked confused. 

“Who the hell is Alex?” He mumbled to himself before the front door swung open. You were smiling brightly until you saw him and instantly your smile fell, which hurt Sweet Pea more than he cared to admit. He was supposed to be the person making you smile, not making it disappear. 

“Can I help you Sweet Pea?” You asked politely. 

“Uh. I came by to see you.” He mumbled. 

“Will this take long? I’m kinda meeting some people in twenty minutes.” You asked and he shook his head. 

“Let me guess. Alex?” He asked. 

“Yep. So whats up. Why are you here after not talking to me for 5 months, and before that barely talking to me.” You sighed. 

“I wanted to say I’m sorry.” He replied and you looked at him confused. “For everything. I’m sorry I didn’t believe you and I’m sorry I ignored you. So are Toni and Fangs, they’re currently thinking of ways to make it up to you which is why they’re not here.” He explained. 

“I don’t wanna hear it Sweet Pea. You are god knows how many months late. You should have believed me when I first told you about Zoe instead of waiting until you broke up and have nothing better to do. Now, if you don’t mind, I have real friends to be hanging out with. Friends who won’t abandon and ignore me.” 

“We are real friends.” He argued. 

“No, we’re not Sweet Pea. Real friends wouldn’t believe their girlfriend over their friends. They wouldn’t let their girlfriend bully the people they love. They wouldn’t lie about doing a project so they could hang out with their other friends. They wouldn’t do any of the shit you did. So leave me alone Sweet Pea. You’re too late.” You sighed and pushed past him, closing the door as you left. 

“Y/n!” He called after you. 

“What?” You snapped and turned around. 

“I love you!” He admitted and you gasped. 

“You what?” You asked and walked towards him. 

“I love you. I love you so much and I have only just realized. But I really do love you. I’m in love with you and I’m an idiot for not realizing.” 

“Sweet Pea.” You sighed and stood in front of him. “You can’t just say you love someone so they will stop being pissed at you. Thats not how this wor-” He cut you off by kissing you roughly. You were shocked at first but eventually you kissed back and he smiled against your lips. You pulled away and glared at him. “Do you believe me now?” He asked and you nodded. “I will spend the rest of our lives making this up to you if you’ll let me?”

“I love you too.” You replied and he smiled brightly. “I’ll see you later though.” You kissed his cheek and started to walk away again. 

“What?” He asked and followed you. 

“I promised my friends I would hang out with them and I’m not gonna break that promise just because you admitted your undying love for me. Who do you think I am?” You asked with a smile and he laughed. 

“Fair enough.” He replied. “I have a free trailer this weekend.” 

“You always have a free trailer.” You raised an eyebrow.
